Statistics say Every day, 7% of the U.S. Citizens eat at a McDonald’s, 20-25% eats fast food. 30% of today’s teens between the ages of 4 and 19 consume processed foods every day. This is building up health issues for later life. As men in our forties we need to do something about this.

These do not only contain bad carbohydrates, they are also filled with a carcinogen which is a substance that can cause cancer in men and cause health damage. Potato chips or crisps used to come in small bags when we were kids. now we polish off a massive bag of the things in one sitting. Not good at all. Gary Lineker wants us to eat more.

Margarine contains Trans fats, which is the main agent for bad cholesterol. A diet filled with margarine can increase pounds and can also hurt men’s circulatory system. We spread s huge amount of this on bread or toast. Take a look at the fat content on the side of the box and look for one that carries less of the stuff.

  1. Doughnuts

These are extremely tasty and easy to munch on, but they are also packed with sugar, especially the glazed variety. A large glazed doughnut on its own contains 250-300 calories and 10-20 grams of fat. This used to be a rare treat. I only ever had a doughnut when I went to the seaside Now there are doughnuts everywhere you look. Good job I don’t like Dunkin Donuts or I might be a few pounds heavier.

  4. Carbonated Drinks

A common example of a carbonated drink is Soda. It would interest every soda drink consuming man worldwide to know that each can of soda contain no less than 10 teaspoons of sweeteners. Since these drinks are carbonated, they can undoubtedly bring about gastric pain, hyper acidity, ulcer, kidney issues, and asthma. It is then advisable for men to limit their soda intake. In fact, it is advisable to take this out of the diet altogether.

  1. Lunch Meat

Pork scratchings is an example of this kind of meat. They are Tasty but absolutely dangerous to people who are conscious about their health. Intensely fried and salted fatty pig skin is filled with bad fats and salt hence should be avoided at all cost. There are healthier alternatives. And the type of meat we put in a sandwich should also be managed. Cured meats have been processed and are not good for the body on a regular basis.
